Do you have a favourite novel that you would like your local drama group to perform but can't find it as a play? LooseTalk may have the solution.

In the UK, copyright protection for published works can last up to 70 years after the author’s death. After copyright expires, the work is in the public domain. If this is the case with your favourite novel, we may be able to adapt it for the stage. You should expect this process to take at least eight months, longer depending on the size of the novel and its complexity. Children's novels may not take as long.

A Christmas Carol - a ghost story for Christmas

LooseTalk's adaptation of  Charles Dickens' immortal classic A Christmas Carol.

Every word, with few exceptions, links for example, has been taken directly as written from the original source. It retains the character, depth and intrigue of the original. There are no other additions, agendas or political comment.

The novel's descriptive passages have been attributed to a narrator which could be a number of speaking parts.

When performed at The Bob Hope Theatre in South East London, there was a cast of 40, ages 6-60 years.
